Seaside International Hostel

Cozy little place, everyone is really friendly, great well-stocked kitchen, a backyard with a firepit and kayaks. Walking distance from the beach and downtown, super affordable, will come and stay here again!

Pese a intentar por varios medios y repetidas veces contactar con el Hostel para avisar que llegaría tarde, no fue posible por lo que tuve que ir antes de la hora indicada (20:30). El termostato de la habitación estaba a unos 29ºC por lo que el calentador estaba en marcha lo que hizo que la habitación estuviera a esa temperatura. La cama, incomoda (con un plástico bajo las sábanas supongo que para proteger el colchón; pero esto hace ruído al moverte y te hace sudar, máxime con la habitación a la temperatura que mencioné. Las sábanas de color rojo no creo sean lo más apropiado para un hostel. Y había un envoltorio de chocolatina pegado en el armazón de la pantalla de la lámpara de mesa. Pese a ser dos los que alojamos, sólo había un juego de toallas en la habitación.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The walls were thin so we could her the other guests talking and their phones.

I stayed one night in the dorm and it was soooo nice and private. i also stayed a night in the privat room and really liked it.

I wasn't told the code to the door (despite asking). Instead of telling me the code they told me to just use the side door to get in. Later that one also locked so I was briefly locked out.

I liked the feeling I got in the common areas. I have stayed places that the common areas were unwelcoming and don't make you feel like you should spend time there, but here I felt so welcomed and I was very impressed with everything they had to offer, like FREE to use kayaks!

I don't have anything negative to say, my birthday trip was perfect and my friends enjoyed the property as well.

The price for the location can’t be beat, and rooms included a private bathroom. The staff was also very accommodating in allowing a late self check-in which we much appreciated.

The listing on booking.com for the Double Room said the room included a queen size bed, but our room (Room 9) instead had a full size bed. The shower in Room 9 wasn’t draining properly so water pooled after only a few minutes. A few amenities you’d expect with a private bathroom weren’t available (liquid hand soap, shampoo, a blow dryer). Our neighbors also were watching Netflix at 4 am and the noise kept us up through the thin walls.

The location was good.

Showers were a little small.
