Location was good. Staff were helpful. Check in and out a breeze.

The walls are very thin. Lots of louds kids out late and up very early. There was constant humming/singing in the hallway/shared spaces. I supposed the shared facilities are ok when there's less people but we did not attempt breakfast or TV.

Cathy couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating for us as we had to last minute book accommodation due to emergency surgery my husband required. The house is only 10 minutes drive from Waikato Hospital and in a lovely rural area away from the bustle of the city. Our dog was welcomed which was the one thing we most needed as it was too late notice for us to arrange alternative care for him. The breakfast items left in our room were way beyond expectation and plentiful. The room is modern and comfortable and the bed was super comfy. We wouldn't stay anywhere else should we need to return to the area.

I was very impressed with the hospitality shown by Cathy. She was very direct, very kind and respectful. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. We are very likely to stay there again.

The rooms were very clean with a comfortable bed and the shower had excellent water pressure. Our dog enjoyed playing with the host's dog.

It would have been good to have had more breakfast selections.

Cathy is a fabulous host and a lovely person! So friendly, responsive and obliging and kindly picked some limes for me to take home. The accommodation was great (mine was the king studio on the ground level). The bathroom is huge and probably the best bathroom I have seen with a fantastic shower. The spa bath was lovely :). The "garden" can probably fit a couple of tennis courts lol. It was perfect for my dog to run around and enjoy the freedom and she played with Teddy (Cathy's dog). The spa and garden are shared facilities but we were lucky to be the only ones there for the night so we had it all to ourselves :).

Location suited my needs. Bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Large property. A shame I didnt meet the host.
