Streamside Geodome

We loved our stay and such beautiful accommodation. We thought you would be able to see through the dome and did not realise it would covered. We were hoping to view the stars and sky from our bed. Could not use the hot tub as it took hours to heat up and uses a lot of wood. But overall a really beautiful place and design and decor 10/10.

It was such a unique and quirky experience staying in a Geodome. Surrounded by nature, it was incredibly peaceful. The hike to the waterfall took about 2 to 2.5 hours, but the stunning views along the way made it absolutely worthwhile.

A better itemized list of amenities could have been shown, eg: inclusions such as Coffee & tea / ice / sunlight liquid / salt pepper / olive oil and complimentary firewood. A simple guide for the hikes & nearby Tulbagh village aswell as instructions for lighting the unique fireplace inside & plunge pool fire

I love everything about this place and the host was such a great and wonderful host

Not comfortable or recommended during typical winter periodss where wind and rain disrupts comfort and luxury. Then the cost in not justifiable. Not getting the most of the facilities.

Exactly as advertised

All was great

Very nicely located, quiet, cosy. The swimming dam was lovely on a very hot day. It’s very peaceful and perfect to relax.

The geodome looks like it could use some maintenance, the floor was damaged in some areas and it smells a bit like damp (probably waterproofing issues). It’s nice overall but we could actually have done with a normal cabin. The knifes are all very blunt and could use some sharpening. We know we were staying on a farm but we were infested with flies the second day (it was very hot?). Nothing was left on the counter but there were still A LOT of them. Maybe some traps would be helpful?

Only two miss matched wine glasses. Cutting knives were blunt. They advertised that ice is included and it was only one small tray with perhaps ten cubes.
