ZAWell equipped, comfortable cottage with beautiful view. Lovely stoep with braai and all-day river gazing. We entered mid-day on an exceptionally hot day and the cottage was cool and inviting. Hosts are onsite, friendly, communicative, very hospitable and relaxed. Ensure to take aqua shoes and pool toys to enjoy the slow flow of the river, entering from the slipway. Cottage is all on one level, but surrounding site, parking and short walk to the river is slightly steep due to the location on the higher river bank. Fenced-in safe area for dogs. Thoughtful touches such as doggy water-bowls, insect spray, block-out blinds and on-site drinking water filter. Not only a holiday rental, this cottage is loved and cared for by its owners and it shows.

One little tip: a broom would have been nice so we could keep the floors clean with bugs and ants being abundant
ZAZAHosts where extremely helpful. Cottage far exceeded our expectations and was exceptionably good value for money. 180 degree view of the river. Clean, equipped with everything one could need and very comfortable. In door braai and easy access to river were the best.

ZAWe loved the tranquility and sense of escape. This cosy cottage has everything we needed and more, with plenty wildlife and birds for us to enjoy while we relaxed.. Hosts were amazing and made sure we were happy and comfortable from arrival.
CHIf I could give 11/10 I would! This cottage is an absolute gem and so pretty inside. There is nothing that you might need, that isn’t already inside. We will definitely be back!
GBLocation is great, house is very well equipped and has very nice decor. Outside seats were excellent (I hate wobbly patio chairs… as I am a big lad). Good WiFi! House has a lovely garden below the Braai area. ( The Inside Braai is great too…the first time I have used one as we don’t really have them in Scotland!). We loved the house . Many thanks for making it a great stay.

DEGBThe view, and it was so well equipped. Every need anticipated. The hosts were very welcoming and went beyond the call of duty when we had a puncture.
It’s a rough steep dirt road on the final approach which didn’t bother us but may not suit everyone.
