DEEveryhing ! My hosts made these three days very special, they turned out as a goldmine of information of the area. The chalet lies with an unforgetable view over the river - but nearly no moaquitoes ! It is very well equipped; even a dishwasher and a washing machine is provided. Electricity runs by solar power, so you do not have to be afraid of load shadding. DeHoop Nature Reserve is realativly close by (I strongly recommend the hikes in the Potberg section !).

PALoved the view. The location was remote but we loved the area. There are no shops in Malgas but there is a petrol station.we were able to make dat trips to Point Agulhas, De Hoop, and Swellendam from there. We had been traveling for several weeks so the laundry facilities were very welcome. The hosts were incredibly gracious. We appreciated the olive oil as a welcome gift and the home made biscuits, which were excellent. The hosts also made sure that we had the proper bedding as my husband is allergic to feathers. The enclosed porch has a fireplace for a brain and we enjoyed this.

ZAThe location is idyllic, peaceful, stunning setting. Wonderful being off grid and being able to watch the rugby on DSTV streaming service.
Excellent having instant hot water available from the gas, but the temperature regulation in the shower was a bit unstable. Don't know how easy that is to adjust in the geyser though.

ZAWe had a lovely stay at Riverdance. Ian and Madi were excellent hosts and super helpful and friendly. The cottage has all you need for your stay including a fabulous enclosed stoep with indoor braai, and views of the river from all the rooms.

ATHospitality and responsiveness of hosts. Very thoughtful and carrying approach. Area is beautiful and house seems to be newly renovated!
The road that leads to the property is in extremely bad condition. The water in property runs with a brownish color. It’s said it is not harmful, still psychological aspect is there.
