Ana was very responsive and allowed us to leave our bags while we explored Coimbra. Our room was ready early, allowing us to rest. She gave us excellent advice about restaurants and cafes. And the breakfast was great!

There was a dance party or beer festival Friday night that was loud. But they had no control over that:

We were really amazed and delighted with the room we rented from Alto Canto while we were in Coimbra for a couple nights. The location was perfect, and the room was large and impressive. This was especially appreciated after several weeks of staying in small hotel rooms during our travel. The veiw from the balcony was stunning.

The only thing we wished for was a comfortable place to sit. Of course we could have gone down to the shared space where there were some nice places to relax, but it would have been nice to have more options in our room. The one couch that was in our room broke when we sat down.

Our location was perfect and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a nice touch, as well!

Lovely space in historic building with a warm and attentive host who provided breakfast and some good recommendations for things to do in the area.

The space was lovely but felt a bit "bare." The common room and patio are great spaces with minimal furnishings.

Great location wonderful host easy to get every.

Thought it was a hotel. Nothing bad at all as it turned out to be delightful.

The upper floor unit in Alto Canto is remarkable. It consists of a bedroom, bathroom AND BALLROOM! The ballroom has several windows and a large balcony overlooking the river. Its quite incredible.

Es gab ein wunderbares Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, Granola, Brötchen und vieles mehr. Die Lage war auch sehr gut.

Amazing location, and beautiful views

The lights in the room are too harsh. That needs to be a soft light as well as well as a comfortable chair.
