The Hay Suite

We arrived early and the property was ready, so we could move in straight away. The size of the property was the perfect size for 2 plus a small dog. There is a comfortable sofa and bed, and the view is lovely. The whirlpool bath was a nice bonus after a cold and wet day of walking (especially as the shared hot tub is not in use during the winter). A real benefit is having control of the heating so when cold you could boost it, plus there was hot water on tap. The property has all the appliances you need for a self-catering break. Only a 30-40 minute walk into town.

The property has been well used and it shows in the wear and tear of the rooms, furnishings and appliances. The radiator in the bathroom leaked and the lounge fire remote control was missing. When I searched under the sofa cushions (just in case the remote had been lost within the sofa), these hadnt been hoovered in a while. We were there when the site was quiet, but we could hear people at the back of us the one night someone did stay - we could hear noise well into the night.

The communication was great, lovely cottage , would recommend.

It was excellent for us and our labrafor plenty of room. Had everything we needed and was quiet. We walked into town didn't take long.

Three property was lovely and it looked nice from the outside as inside was had everything we needed for a romantic getaway.

Nothing everything was perfect

Location was quiet but close to Uni, which was what we needed. It was dog friendly. Lodge was cosy and warm.

The property is well equipped and hospitable. The location was in many ways excellent, with views over the countryside to the mountains from the upstairs balcony. However, the property is some distance from the centre of Aberystwyth, which is only easily accessible by car.

The property was excellent in every way except from the distance from the centre of Aberystwyth. Also, it would have been good to have a shaver adapter socket. (We forgot to bring an adapter with us.)
