Unzen Fukudaya

I love the dinner so much. The food is outstanding if compare with other ryokan. Dinner is perfect but breakfast is ok not as good as dinner. The room is big and comfortable. What I impress is they got 2 bathroom which is so rare in Japan.

I have ask for more water in the room but the staff said ill have to get more from the machine which there were already 2 bottles for free in the room. For me I think they should prepare water in a Jug for guests too i got this kind of service from other hotels.

Location is good, food is delicious and there are 2 onsen pools for female and male. staff is helpful and hospitality

We loved the kaiseki dinner and beautiful breakfast served here as part of the ryokan experience. The onsen here have a number of options both indoor and outdoor. Staff were helpful although not much English was spoken.

The new addition is a bit of a rabbit warren, so it was easy to get lost. It is a much bigger hotel than we expected when we booked a ryokan, although it does retain its Japanese character.

Location is ok.

Don't see much value for my money. The room was old, need a renovation and the aircon was not working.We stayed in 4 ryokans during our Mar 23 Kyushu trip and this is ranked last.

Really nice and relaxing place! Perfect location for exploring Unzen. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! The food was amazing, but there was too much food and my partner and I couldn't finish everything. They had a nice variety of onsens, both private and public.There is plenty of private parking for the hotel just around the corner (after making the first left). I can't speak Japanese, but the staff was very friendly and patient with us! We used Google translate to translate the menu and paperwork. Thank you so much to the friendly staff, I definitely want to stay here again!
