We chose for the location and price which were excellent, the pub next door was spot on for food and the landlady definitely a character

The stairs as the rooms were on the top floor so if your not able then I’d book somewhere else

The room was sold as having free WiFi, the hotel is in a complete dead spot on both my personal and work phone so the WiFi is especially necessary as I was away on business. I called the landlord to ask about the WiFi to which she said she will come out in an hour this was the last I heard from her. I had to drive out the area to get WiFi in order to carry out my work. I came back and there was still no WiFi. I walked up to the second floor where my phones could pick up the WiFi so I logged on, when walking back to my room both phones disconnected as they were out of reach from the router. Really disappointing to advertise something you are not offering in the room I stayed in.

Breakfast not included but liked the fact you could bring your own cereal and fresh milk was freely available along with plenty of tea bags and coffee. Close to two pubs with good food. Very pretty and quiet village. Walking distance to National Trust Montacute House and Ham Hill Country Park.

location was good to visit family.

No breakfast, although I could help myself to milk in the main fridge-however the milk was off.B&B means bed and breakfast!

Comfortable bed, good shower.

Headboard loose, toilet separate from room.

Lovely village. Nice accommodation with quiet room at the back.

Did get wood smoke smell emanating from (presumably) open fire on level below.

This is one of the few reasonably-priced places in the area.

There was no WC in the room. I should’ve read the reviews - my fault!
