Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Collins South

I chose this hotel for the hot tub & pool. It was closed and no one told us.

The hotel was very busy when we were there so breakfast could get crowded. Also, the pool and hot tub were not working. We were there for 9 nights and had planned to use the pool, so that was disappointing. Other than that, it was fine. Staff was friendly.

Lovely hotel but we should receive housekeeping every day. The breakfast was good, We pay top dollar for a room that has minimal storage for clothes. There were 2 small drawers and a closet that was 18” wide (that already had an ironing board in it). There wasn’t enough room for a single person traveling for 5 days to unpack, nevermind a couple. Also only an outlet on 1 side of the bed. Luckily the 2nd cpap cord just reached by running it behind the pillows. If the oxygen machine (we stayed in Ft Collins, CO) had been needed we would have had an issue.

I did not have a good experience. Lawn peolle were outside weed eating at 7:30 am. I valled the front desk and was td there was nothing they could do. The breakfast was not good at all.

My biggest complaint about this place is the gym. I am there multiple times a month and every time I have reported the treadmills are broken and very very dated. No one ever fixes them. Otherwise this place is solid for a quick stay. It is about 10 minutes from old town.

Room was clean and comfortable but unfortunately extremely loud. We were put next to an exterior door, ice machine and a stairwell. Our sleep was interrupted for the majority of the night. It was one of the loudest rooms we have ever stayed in. The front desk was rude and dismissive on more than one occasion as well. Customer service to me is being kind when answering questions even if you can’t help the customer due to the hotels rules and or occupancy. Kindness goes a long way.

Very clean and great location, will stay here again!
