Good location. Cute room. Lovely host. Tasty breakfast.

Bed on the small side

The location was excellent and in the heart of Rye. Breakfast on both mornings was dreamy and we left absolutely stuffed. The food was of top notch quality; we loved the sausages, yoghurts and all the baked goods in particular. We stayed in the deluxe double and it was a spectacular room with everything that you needed. We slept well on both nights. The room was cool enough on both nights; we did use the fan, but even without this the temperature was fine. Rachael the host was super friendly and really took care of us, without being over bearing. A great host. The building contained a lot of history and it was decorated nicely throughout.

There isn't anything we didn't like, however, there are a few things that could have been improved (very minor and had no impact on our stay): - a bit more attention to detail when dusting the nooks and crannies - a firmer mattress (it was on the softer side for both me and my partner)

Amazing host , nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had.

Nothing …. A perfect stay

Amazing house, area and host! Would love to come back. A lovely breakfast cooked and served in the kitchen at the family dining table. Our host made us feel right at home!

Only thing was a very small bathroom, shower did not work. But there was another shower down the hall for us to use.

Loved this wonderful, old house - quirky and full of character. Fantastic location and wonderfully quiet, plus a huge bedroom with ancient timbers. Rachel was an absolute delight - so welcoming, friendly, hepful and served up the bestest breakfasts.

Cannot fault anything

Excellent breakfast, lovely and comfortable accommodation with easy access to everything Rye has to offer. Great Host.

Perfect location in the gorgeous Mermaid Street, close to shops and pubs/restaurants. Comfortable room with lovely vintage furnishings and a plentiful supply of tea and biscuits. Rachel is an excellent host, attentive and with lots of tips on what to do in and around Rye. The breakfast was served in the beautiful kitchen at the large family table with other guests, freshly cooked to order with delicious fresh bread from the local bakery. A great place to stay in a great little town.
