Baan Chiang Mai Hostel

Friendly host helped us sort a motorbike. Location is great and central in old quarter. Room was clean and comfy.

Posizione comoda, i colori della camera.

Il proprietario è un personaggio particolare, che con me è stato gentile. Le scarpe si lasciano fuori (ok). Prima di accompagnarti in camera ti chiede se vuoi una spruzzata di spray ambiente, per me no. Ma quando entri in camera, pensi di aver voluto dire di sì. Camera colorata, ma puzza di polvere, di chiuso (ero in camera privata al pt). Per il prezzo e per una notte, ok.

Wifi good, comfortable and quiet room.

I really didn’t like the place, you can’t wear your shoes inside but the steps to the second floor are steep and slick. The “smoking area” is the busy alley outside with nowhere to sit, no smoking on the balcony I paid for. Weird steps to my bathroom, I fell hard on the tile the first night (no shoes allowed). Constant orders from the host, turn off the fan, ac, move your bike, it was like staying with your mom except you paid. I was going to ride it out but then lost a debit card and asked to use the hotel phone to make a FREE call to cancel the card, host refused. I left with two days still paid for and found a much better place around the corner. Host doesn’t seem to understand he’s in the hospitality industry.
