Beautiful and peaceful and an experience in itself to stay in this gorgeous home!

Very cozy cabin. Extraordinarily vice. Wish we could stay longer!!

A great little cabin in a quiet little suburb outside the city. Would have been even better if we had been there in the summer to use the kayaks. Make sure to read the welcome book upon arrival, it has all the info you'll need.

The cabin itself is beautiful. Gas heating stove kept temperature well. Fruit, muffins and breakfast cereals were nice. Sign next to road could be more-easily readable. Markings on parking spot for easy departure maneuvering on steep driveway would help.

Big confusion since the ELD property is actually the HERON house, and the name change led to wasted time and an angry woman who berated us for trying to get into the lock box of the ELD house. Also, the actual rental is not by the lake, so the photo with a hammock by water should show a log cabin in the woods. More info is needed to describe a cabin above the lake, and no meet and greet. I explained this to the irate owner.

Beautiful cabin! All details well thought out. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The Eld house was a unique and pleasant place to stay.

This place was worth every cent. It was beautiful and so well stocked with anything you might need or want. We will be back so many more times, for sure!

The cabin itself was lovely, comfy bed and living area. No stove or oven if that’s important to you but fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Even though it says “Eld house” on listing you are staying in Heron cottage. You MUST connect with owners prior to arrival, this part was highly problematic for us, be sure to try atleast 48 hrs prior. Hotels.com had wrong phone # for owners listed.
