The Heron House

This place really was a gem of a find. It was way better than we expected. We seriously considered looking into to changing our plans to stay longer, but decided there were too many other dependencies on our schedule to move forward with that idea. We WILL, however, be booking a longer visit on a future trip to the area... no doubt! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!

I cannot say enough about how lovely this property is! It was clean, quiet, peaceful and pretty. I do wish they did not bill it as 2 queen beds, it is one queen and an air mattress. It is great for a couple. There is no stove but we made do and had lovely meals. The breakfast and bottles of water waiting for us were fabulous! Based on other properties we look at the price was excellent! My one suggestion would be to put a grill by the side patio, it would open up cooking options.

This extraordinary hand built log cabin was a wonderful find! Beautiful location, lovely host, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful log cabin 10 minutes to historic Olympia. Owners relayed all details accessing cabin. Everything was comfortable, new and clean. They left a nice continental breakfast for the morning. We enjoyed our morning walk on the beach when the tide was out.

Peaceful setting, cozy cabin - perfect for a weekend getaway of relaxation.

Very pretty setting, clean cabin with good tv setup. We walked down past their house to the water and sat for a few—nice! We were able to walk up the stairs to the bedroom, with the bathroom downstairs easily, but think this place is meant for younger, fit visitors.

It was a beautiful place!

It was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer. My 5 yo loved exploring the beach. We saw crabs, jellyfish and other sea creatures. Just a short drive to Olympia for our oyster dinner.

The house is new, clean, perfect. Nicely done! We will stay there again if we are in the area. We only stayed one night, so didn't get a chance to go paddling, and see more of the place. It's a goof find.
