Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort

The property is great and the bungalows are really cute, but if you are hoping to get a good nights rest I would pick another hotel. Across the water is a bar and they were playing music until 230am. You could hear everything in the bungalow so we got no sleep. We had ear plugs and those helped, but you could still hear everything. You can also hear all the conversations around your bungalow.

Beautiful bungalows ! Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff were super nice and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the rooms were cosy. It does get abit noisy as the bungalows are close together so you can hear other people, no other complaints it was amazing. Would stay again

Honestly, this is the best resort in Phi Phi Island. If you want a bamboo hut experience then this is your place. It’s about 10 minute walk to centre hub so that’s convenient. Yes, it is loud at night but it’s expected because there are a lot of tourists, especially young tourists. I did not get sleep the first night but I didn’t mind because the second night I was knocked out lol. I suggest the ear plugs provided. It helps. I would definitely stay here again since all the staff were so hospitable and friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. If we were unsure of something, they would have the answers or at least try to help you. I thought their breakfast buffet was amazing. My family and I had a good time. Don’t be hesitant to pick this resort/hotel, you won’t regret it. Thank you CoCo Beach Resort!

only stayed for 1 night and wish I booked 2. Everyone was very kind and said hello with a smile. Reception was lovely and let us check in a bit earlier which we really appreciated after a long journey. The room is beautiful. Wooden Thai style with all comforts. Bathroom has everything, razors, combs etc. air con works great. I had a bit of an issue with the TV as it wasn’t connecting to my phone to watch YouTube and Netflix in room 501c but this isn’t much of an issue for me personally. I really didn’t Yes it is loud at times but they do provide ear plugs and if you have a few drinks you can sleep through. Breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Everything tasted fresh and there was great variety. This really is a beautiful hotel and lets you experience a more relaxed side of phi phi island. I couldn’t stop taking photos. The beach isn’t the best on the island but still nice to swim in. There is offers of kayaks included in the hotel. It was also nice that only guests could use the facilities and this was closely guarded. The pool is great, doesn’t smell of chlorine and very clean. It is however very warm, you would be better off cooling off in the sea. Unfortunately the kayaks don’t look as good as the ones in the hotel next door. The man who looks after the towels was also a bit rude to my mum. She was upset. I would have given this hotel 5 stars as everyone else gave excellent customer service. I was checking out at 11 and couldn’t check in until 2pm at the next hotel. My mum and I were allowed to hang out by the pool until then which was great. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to the pier which is also great. The hotel organised for us to be ported to our next hotel which is beneficial as it’s easy to get lost here. We didn’t have any luggage but if you do this makes things easier.

El ruido de la música de los vecinos es tremendo. Pedimos un cambio de cuarto porque la primer noche teníamos uno que literalmente temblaba por el ruido hasta las 3:30am. El personal muy bien y el hotel también, lástima el ruido de la música que no te deja descansar por la noche.

The noise levels from nearby properties are terrible, with loud music until the early hours of the morning. While sitting at the pool area a monkey entered the resort after being chased down the beach by a staff member. I was subsequently scratched, the advice from the staff by the pool was as it was a scratch I didn’t need any further treatment. Luckily I went to seek medical advice and had to have a course of rabies vaccinations. This was reported to the hotel but nobody checked in to see how I was or acknowledged staff needed to give better advice to guests if this should happen again. The pool area could do with renovation lots of chipped tiles, the breakfast buffet was covered with flies

We truly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It felt like a little slice of heaven tucked away in the middle of the beautiful chaos that is Koh Phi Phi. We were a bit hesitant after reading reviews about the noise, and while yes—it was definitely noticeable at times and we did have a couple of rough nights of sleep—it was absolutely worth it for how stunning the resort was. We stayed in the 100 section, which is right by the pool and beach, so I imagine being closer to the bay probably made the noise more noticeable. If you’re traveling with a family or are especially sensitive to noise, I’d recommend requesting a room closer to the lobby—those are more tucked into the resort and likely a bit quieter. One of the coolest surprises was that the hotel plays movies by the pool every night, and you can even catch the fire shows happening across the bay—such a fun bonus. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and didn’t want to be in the heart of the party scene in Tonsai, but still wanted to be close enough to walk into town for a change of pace and some cheap eats. This hotel hit that sweet spot perfectly. The bamboo huts were way cleaner and cozier than I expected—super charming and comfortable. The hotel also arranged a private longtail boat tour for us around the Phi Phi Islands (cushions and all!) for only 4,000 baht for six hours, which was such a highlight. All in all, such an incredible stay—highly recommend!

Hotel was lovely to chill during the day pool really nice staff friendly, but didn’t sleep a single wink due to the fact there’s a nightclub open over the water that is open till 3am every night of the week and playing loud music all night long. Due to this the hotel became abit of a pain and I was glad that I was only here for 1 night and not for the whole of my stay in Thailand.

It was a lovely hotel with great views and location, however there were a few downsides such as the air conditioning blowing out warm air and not powerful at all so as you can imagine trying to sleep was unbearable, there is also a bar across the way from the hotel which plays DJ loud music until 3 am every night. There is also a monkey which repeatedly came into our hotel and caused havoc by attacking people, stealing people’s belongings from their sunbeds and causing general disruption.
