Poorly maintained, not like the pictures. Very unstable owner that makes situations unsafe. We lefts as soon as we could. Look clearly at the negative reviews on this platform. It’s a truth. If you look at the responses of the location on these it speaks for itself. There are so many more loving luxurious Riads that understand hospitality, class and safety.

Worst travel experience in my life. I am honestly still in shock about how this was handled by the owner, Stephen. What started as a normal booking quickly turned into a stressful and confusing situation due to inconsistent communication and changing terms, despite clear agreements being made in advance. The most unacceptable part was the way the situation was escalated. Instead of handling things calmly or professionally, the owner threatened to call the police without any valid reason, even while I was in the process of leaving with my luggage. This kind of behaviour is intimidating, unnecessary, and completely out of line with any standard of hospitality. At no point was there any attempt to resolve the situation in a respectful or reasonable way. As a result, I felt extremely uncomfortable and chose to leave immediately without staying. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when booking here.

Decor, location, staff

Très beau Riad magnifiquement décoré: les tons, le mobilier, la décoration. La chambre « des chameaux » est superbement décorée…et très spacieuse ! Le personnel est très gentil et prévenant, un séjour d’exception.

Le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur du niveau prétendu du chef étoilé ! Un véritable effort est nécessaire dans un si bel envirronement.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Sadly quite a lot, and this is said with a heavy heart because the staff are very kind. The Raid is very different in reality to the photos and they so kindly “upgrade “ us without us knowing or asking but the room style wasn’t us and after all you selected the rooms when booking for personal preference right! We ask for our room but they had given it to someone else 😔 . You never really knew what was happened, communication needs to improve after all it’s a lot of money and we waste a lot of time just waiting around to know things. It’s crazy that we felt bad for the things they got wrong. We ended up in the Zepra room which was better than the upgrade but still had a few things wrong- no bath at stayed because the tap doesn’t work, very tired in places too 😔 Let’s just say it wasn’t magical as the photos show. However an expensive experience.

The Staff is EXCEPTIONAL. A huge shoutout to Aziz and Maryam in particular, who are the kindest, sweetest people ever! The Hammam and Massages are great too. The concierge services are great! The place is like a dream.

The Suite we were in was a bit dark (despite the amazing staff putting up more light). The Jacuzzi was very chlorinated, I assume because we were the first guests of the season.
