Perfect location for the first direct arena, easy to get to from the station & surrounded by great shopping, eats & venues, the Wrens have a well stocked bar good cask & draft ales

Being a little older the bed in room 4 was low down & a very soft mattress, so struggled getting into & out of bed,

Was very clean. Decor a little outdated but comfortable beds. Location was excellent

There was a leak in bathroom coming from the ceiling.

"Avoid if you value comfort, cleanliness and sleep"

Situated above a pleasant pub

Dirty room with mould patches on the walls and ceiling. Damaged bed, huge hole in the mattress where the springs had disintegrated made it impossible to lie in comfortably. Nightclub opposite playing extremely loud music until 6am. Impossible to sleep even with the ‘complimentary’ earplugs. The hotel really should make guests aware prior to booking. We changed our train tickets so we could leave early and return home for some much needed sleep
