The Wrens

Our go to place when we are overnight in Leeds for concerts…..so convenient for the Arena. Stayed many times previously. Staff always cheerful and the room albeit basic offers all you need for a one nighter

Saturday night is a noisy night at the Wrens due to all the Ciry Centre night life……which is to be expected. We did eventually fall asleep!

Location was excellent - very close to the arena for a gig. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - car parking although not on site was very close by

Rooms were basic but clean- the rooms could benefit from modernisation, but there are signs up to say a refurb is taking place

The location is fabulous The staff were amazing and friendly The room (the best one apparently) was clean, bright and comfortable

The bed was comfy but very low down Steep stairs

Easy access to arena and shopping

Staff were helpful and made checking in and logistics of our stay easy and stress free. Location ideal for city centre stay. The room for 5 people was really good layout and shower was good

Shower in the top floor room was a trickle and unusable. We stayed in another room for night two and one of the mattresses/beds was pretty much collapsed in middle making for an uncomfortable sleep.

Staff were amazingly kind and patient.

The location is brilliant, close to where we needed to be. There are loads of restaurants and takeaways in the vicinity. 24/7 carpark 5 min walk away.. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the room was clean.

The place itself is very dated and in need of a good makeover. The room, though big felt dingy and dull. Decent windows would reduce the noise from outside. Bring some earplugs if you want to get some sleep. The big bay window faced a very busy street with only the curtains for privacy. The fire exit is used as a point of entry and exit after hours. It makes a hell of a racket.
