Cosy Nook

The location was great, short walk to shops and restaurants. Good selection of cafes and restaurants all around Windemere. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels.

No hair-dryer provided. No light blankets available for warmer nights. Also, parking is off-site.

We loved our stay at Cosy Nook. The name is very appropriate as it was very comfortable and well decorated. Good supplies and very handy to Windermere. A really easy walk to town with a grocery shop close by. We loved the fact that we could open the windows and have fresh air come in as it was quite hot during our stay. This accommodation is very private and quiet. We had a wonderful peaceful stay here. Would definitely stay again if we ever come back to Windermere.

A bit tricky sometimes to navigate Parking with luggage & bags either in the nearby parking space or in the streets nearby.

Nice and modern, clean with plenty of facilities. Great Location

Pillows too hard for my liking. Bedroom door creeks loud when opened or closed which wakes anyone else sleeping in the room.

The cosy home is lovely and fits in well with the surroundings. Location is great.

I understand that this is a business however the way the company runs the rental makes it very impersonal, systematic and rather cold. With a bit of effort and a more personal touch one can help make the experience more warm in keeping with a setting of an experience by the lakes.

We were traveling without a car, and the location was terrific, within the heart of Windermere village and easy walking distance to the train station, bus terminal, and a choice of grocery stores. Beds were comfortable, climate control worked well, and it was very helpful to have a dishwasher and laundry machine. It's a very cute unit in a quiet corner. I liked the relatively spacious and light-filled hallway bath. People at the tourist office went out of their way to help us find information on walks, and let us know about the various special fares on buses.

A few more kitchen utensils would be helpful, in particular a pot big enough to cook pasta. People with mobility issues would find the stairs to the bedrooms/baths steep.

Good location, within walking distance to the city. Parking permit is good allowing us to park at different part of Windermere.
