Location was near all facilities and quiet. Beds were comfortable and any instructions for anything were easy to find and follow.

Didn’t like the choice and way to make coffee. Despite the hot weather downstairs was cool so had to turn the heating up. On arrival there appeared to be beard hairs in a basin but when I wiped them it stained the basin. Also one shower door was hanging off its runner. There was no shampoo supplied. The range of kitchen utensils was poor if you wanted to make meals from scratch:- not enough bowls nor large glasses for a beer for example. Having to leave the car 5 minutes walk away was mildly inconvenient.

Great location, quiet, stylishly decorated. Comfy sofa, well equipped kitchen. Fluffy towels, comfortable beds. Parking permit v useful and saved us money on day trips out. Reasonably clean but not spotless

Heating a bit erratic.

Lovely cottage, spacious enough for 4 people for the weekend. 2 bathrooms is a big plus

It could’ve been cleaner, the pots, pans and cutlery all needed cleaning before use. But, we are picky about these things and would naturally clean these items before use anyway.

The property had everything we needed for a mini break. Modern facilities, tastefully furnished! Great location to the heart of Windermere.

Nothing

The location is excellent, in a residential road off the main street in Windermere. The property also looks the be recently renovated. The instructions were also very clear and we could find everything. Lastly, support is quite efficient, just a call away.

A few things. 1) It was extremely cold when we went and the heating was either very warm or very cold. Specifically, we were boiling in the rooms while downstairs was freezing. The insulation near the entrance is poor, probably due to how old the building is. 2) When we arrived there were 14 degrees inside the property. 3) The property requires a deep cleaning.. it was dusty everywhere and we could see spider webs in every room. 4) One of the nightstand light bulbs was broken with shattered glass everywhere. We flagged it and the host was available to have it replaced, but since we were staying just a couple of days wasn't much of a bother. It was however dangerous. 5) One of the bedrooms is very small. There is no space to walk around the bed, they squeezed in a double bed 6) There is no shampoo- bring your own. 7) When we entered we could not find any coffee machine. We had to flag it to the host and then they promptly brought it to us 8) The property came with a parking permit that you can use in some locations. The parking spot for the property is around 5 minutes away, we ended up parking offroad closer to where we were
