FRExceptional experience, exceptional location in the middle of the tea plantation, with a perfect view on the Nyungwe forest. Our cottage was perfect. No hot water temporarily, but other than that, really great place I recommend without hesitation! We also got a very interesting tour of the tea plantation from the receptionist, very professional!

ZAGreat location, very friendly staff. They offered us a warm shower in one of the rooms as the ablution facilities for the tents only have a cold shower. There was a plug point in the tent. Attention to small detail, like providing flipflops and toothbrushes. Very nice.
The bathroom for the tents was a bit dirty.

My bed wasn’t comfortable (inner spring mattress) The shower needs a shower curtain/barrier to prevent the bathroom floor from soaking.

Feir under the room for no rezone made the room smell of smoke. Oner can do a better job explaining in advance how to book chimpanzee walks in the forest, we missed that because of bad tip from him. 2023 is good time for wifi in every room...
DEMost beautiful location and view! Bong fire in the evening, good food, hot water, nice and knowledgeable staff.
Beds are a bit small (challenge for very tall people), rooms in general are small but you're not there to stay in your room anyways :)

Wifi doesn't work. There is only one router at the reception and they even turn that off when they aren't using it
NLCAThe food (especially the Rwandan dishes) was good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant with the warm fire was pleasant. The views were quite stunning.
The mildew smell in our room was off putting as well as our room’s position in the compound, as we were right beside the staff living quarters with little privacy. The lighting was poor such that we had to use headlamps in our room. The ecolodge’s personal car to Nyungwe costs $70 return.
