Extremely well located - 10min drive to uni open day. Comfortable, clean and modern rooms with rain shower bathroom. Excellent service, we arrived late due to traffic but despite kitchen having closed they made us a delicious ham sandwich. Great value. Also loved the field of cows!

Nothing to criticise - only idea is with the current heat wave a fan in the bedroom would have been perfect.

We arrived a little later than planed but despite that we were delighted to be received with a very warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent as was the room but it was the staff that really made the difference.

Nothing to fault.

Super étape à la campagne avec les champs à pertes de vue. Les chambres et les salles de bain ont été refaites à neuf, et tout est super comfortable. Le pub au rez de chaussée est spacieux et sert de la bonne nourriture. C'est un très bon choix à 15mn de la ville.

The breakfast was lovely. Staff were very friendly and obliging.

Convenience and staff was great!

Staff extremely pleasant and helpful, location very good 10 minutes drive to park and ride to Durham. Food was good and very plentiful and very good value. Nice outside space overlooking farmland for a pre dinner drink, what more could you need.
