Bopha Bassac Boutique Hotel

The pool was nice, the breakfast was decent.

The room was very dark with no real natural light. There was a small sliding door which led into a tiny box like area with caged enclosure above, which felt a little pointless. The room itself had quiet a cold feeling as it was concrete floors etc. The bedroom door could do with something to block the bottom gap to stop bugs and ghekos entering the room, as we had during our stay.

As mentioned in previous reviews it’s very loud at night from the surrounding pubs but we got used to it after the first night

Great location. Nice good size room, Bathroom was a good size and clean. Staff very friendly and pool was good to cooling off in. Central for all the main tourist attractions.

No view from the room but not that this is a big issue when staying in the room. Some drivers found the place difficult to find but that just added to the fun and exploration.

Beautiful rooms, cool restaurants around the area, nice facilities.

I found the staff to be quite unfriendly and unhelpful. I was a bit frustrated as they only greeted my male travel companion “hello and welcome sir” and not myself (female) despite the booking being in my name. Left me quite unhappy and tainted our stay from the get go. Just not up to scratch with the other customer service we have had elsewhere. Location is also quite far from big destinations. Stay closer to town where you can get better value for money.
