Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel

Overall our stay was wonderful.

The breakfast was ok but ended at 10 on a weekend. Very early.

The door locks were not working properley and moreover, there were noises all the night not able sleep properley.

Very difficult to contact the hotel with an Australian mobile phone re Hotel shuttle pick up point. Very difficult to locate the hotel shuttle bus pick up point at DFW, in the first instance. The hotel needs to provide better directions/instructions for shuttle bus pick up points Waited one hour for eventual transfer to the hotel. Would definitely return if in the Dallas area again.

Despite overall appearance and friendly staff, there were problems throughout the stay. AC issues in multiple rooms, ice makers not working, bathrooms by pool not working, very poor water pressure in shower, and other issues. Lobby and bar area were clean and nice and cool. Once you get in the elevator and head up, its all downhill after that.

The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds, you're almost guaranteed a solid night’s rest. If you have access to the Sheraton Club, the breakfast options are excellent, and the downstairs bar is a great place to unwind. Its proximity to the airport is a major draw, and their shuttle service adds an extra layer of convenience. That said, a few hiccups stood out during my visit. I’ll take responsibility for going to the wrong shuttle pickup location, but I didn’t expect a scolding call from the front desk. For those unfamiliar with the airport layout, make sure you head downstairs for the shuttle to avoid a similar experience. I was descending the escalator as the shuttle pulled away, despite waving to signal I was right there. The Sheraton Club itself was wonderful, quiet, well stocked, and relaxing. However, at the end of my visit, an attendant I’d had a pleasant chat with handed me a QR code for what I assumed was a feedback survey. It turned out to be a prompt for a tip, which caught me off guard and left me feeling like the warmth of the interaction had been transactional. I’ve stayed at several Sheraton Clubs, and this was a first. Overall, it’s still a solid hotel, especially for an overnight layover. Take note of the shuttle logistics and set your expectations for the club accordingly, and you’ll likely have a smooth, restful stay.
