Papagayo Hotel Boutique

This was a nice hotel as for walking to the beach and attractions in the area like 5th ave. The one thing I didn’t like is that the room really needed black out or thicker curtains as my room shared windows with the hallway and the opaque curtains did nothing to shield the hallway lights from beaming into my eyes at night. Overall the place was clean, and I would stay there again.

From the moment we checked in this place was terrible. Lady at the front desk was extremely rude. The room advertised fridge in room which is the main reason we got this room and there wasnt one. When we went downstairs to ask she said it was an error with expedia not them. Also the door lock to our room was broken and the soap dispenser didnt work. Book elsewhere

For the money, it wasn't bad for playa del Carmen, but it didn't live up to the pictures.

Close to Main Street but quiet. A bit expensive for what they offer. Will need and upgrade on bed sheets and towels as they are old, and not so clean. This is one of the very few hotels that offers hot water.

Torn towels, dirty spots on the couch, I couldn’t stay there over the night

Good on the budget. Note no cold water was available most days. Staff is friendly. Downtown is noisy and there is some noise in the hotel as well from everyone, but gets better at night.

It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and there is so much good food by. In the heart of everything and a great price. The water pressure is the only downside to this place. I will stay here again many times.

Terrible costumer service at front desk form de older lady, smelly rooms, dirty bed sheets, and not enough water pressure in the shower, had to use water bottles to shower. Poor maintenance. The only good thing was the location and quietness. Its a few of blocks away from the 5th Ave. and it was really quite and calm at night.

Hotel had everything within walking distance, very short walk to 5th Avenue.
