TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dubuque Downtown

We had a good stay at this location and we went around the area and went to places. Restaurants and bars and a McDonald's is in walking distance. Pool is a salt water pool and clean. Breakfast was good for being free with the usual stuff like scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon, oatmeal, fruit, cereals etc. Would stay here again no problems at all.

First off, the customer service was impeccable. I have never stayed at a hotel where the management remembered my name!! Terry went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome!! I will definitely come back to this hotel because of his responsiveness and care. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had!!

Rooms were nice, updated and comfortable. The food amenities and variety were great. Our family enjoyed our rooms. ADA rooms were well equipped for seniors.

Excellent location in the Mill section of town this property is very well maintained. Clean comfortable rooms, within walking distance of all the downtown and port attractions. Debbie was very helpful in making sure our stay was pleasant.

Amy was awesome! Everything we needed she did for us….10/10 customer service. She helped us with all our needs while we visited with a smile.

Hotel was just ok. For the cost I expected more. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Had to ask for clean towels. I will not stay here again.

We had less than 24 hours in town and maximising our trip. We arrived at the property and were informed they had oversold because guests wanted to extent their stay. So they positioned us in another hotel with less facilities and further away from everything we had booked. Relocating (after making our way to reception with our bags etc) impacted our time available for our short stay and we now had to uber to all of the things we had booked which were on the door step. Really disappointed I wasn’t informed before hand and given the opportunity to choose the hotel location of my choice with facilities which I needed.
