I enjoyed my breakfast. I ordered omelet and it was the best. The staff are very friendly and they care. My room is very clean.

I called down about breakfast and was told there were a few minutes left. I left down immediately. We were only on the second floor. It took usabout a minute to get down when we got down the person inside of the breakfast area told us that it was over and I said well just called. He said well ma’am it’s over in the middle of my sentence. I walked up a few more steps and realized that the bar withthe breakfast on it was still fully stocked so we began to make us some plates to go. We heard people whispering staff members saying that we were getting breakfast and that they were and how we were making things late my daughter who is nine also heard it and began to cry. We felt really, really belittled, embarrassed, andhumiliated. We got our plates to go and came back up and really didn’t eat because of how we had been treated, we then tried togo to the pool we went to the pool. The pool had an excessive amount of bugs in and so my daughter and I and my partners did not There was also a lot of maintenance going on a lot of drilling furniture, being moved, etc. in the hallways that was very disturbing. Overall, we felt belittled and it was not a good experience.

Close to downtown

We were supposed to have river view but a big tree blocked the view. Not sure why she gave us that room. The hotel was practically empty.

Views and friendly staff

Stayed one night only. The bathroom smelled like urine when I walked in. Looking at toilet closer there was dried urine on the toilet seat. It was so late at night when I check in that I ended up using public restroom instead of bathroom in the bedroom. I asked via the Hilton app for a manager to touch base with me in the morning and that never happened. I cannot recommend this hotel at all due to room being unsanitary.

The location is good, I booked a room overlooking the marina which was nice. I have had more reliable service at other Hiltons. Some staff were exceptional, like TayTay in the restaurant while her male co-worker wasn't as hospitable. Same with front desk, some more helpful and welcoming than others. It was clean. The town of New Bern seems to close at 4pm on Sundays. Not the hotel's fault.

Love the bar. Terri Ann and Tyler were great. Love the food as well.
