Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort

During our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach we had the nicest room attendant, Roger. He kept our room spotless, always friendly, helpful with our requests, and surprised us with his towel sculptures.

The location is great but the rooms are dated and need remodeling

The Sheraton was amazing , I stayed in room 1732 ocean view room. It was simply breathtaking views. Memories will last a lifetime❤️♥️

The ocean view [from the 26th floor] was stunning. Very clean. Maybe just a tad small - nowhere to put open the suitcase out of the way. Rumfire bar was excellent and not too busy, even on Memorial day.

It is expensive, and in the US way they do add and add extra taxes and charges onto the bill.

Great location on Waikiki beach with amazing oceanfront balconies and spectacular views! We were on the higher floors and had a lovely view. Rooms are not very modern and bathrooms are small and need renovations. However it was still a very comfortable 6 night stay. We weren’t in our room a lot of the time so it was fine. We enjoyed a class in the lobby to learn how to make ribbon garlands and also play the ukulele! Check-in was smooth; there was an error in our bill on checkout but the receptionist corrected it after we pointed it out. We had a daily resort credit as part of our package. We enjoyed food at Rumfire and had drinks at the outside bar to enjoy the sunset- best passion fruit margarita in my life!! We also went to have breakfast at Moana Surfrider (great buffet) and picked up coffee and pastries from the Royal Hawaiian one day. All these are options for the resort food credit. They offered rain ponchos and umbrellas for guests because it was rainy on some of the days. They have an adult and kids pool with waterslides. There are two hot tubs (surprisingly both on the kids pool side) with very hot temperatures which are perfect even though often overrun with kids. There seemed to be a lot of people saving chairs and never using them. The hotel is in a great location with lots of eateries around and the resort overall feels relaxing and upscale. We particularly enjoyed Earl’s and walked over to the Hilton Hawaiian Village to see fireworks one night. Duke’s, Island Vintage Coffee and Marugame Udon also walkable. Easy to find car rental places nearby and if you do rent a car, you must start your day with a warm malasada from Leonard’s and a coffee from Kai!

Enjoyed our visit very much overall; however, a bit of a mishap with check-in. Reserved a King room that wasn't ready and waited 3 hours for a text that never came. Went to check in to find out what the status was (after 3 pm). Come to find out, after getting to our room, we were given 2 double beds :( The upside was our view and the housekeeper assigned to us. Roger was very thorough and kind. He surprised us with a lovely swan towel arranged on the bed. Pool service was great, too. If we could have had Dominic B service our group every day, we would have. He was quick, friendly, and kind. We would recommend staying to others. The group of 8 of us had a wonderful time!
