The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

When met Storme the day we checked in. He was so welcoming and friendly. We received a spectacular room with large windows overlooking the ocean as well as large windows to see the sun set.

The Westin was fantastic, the staff, Ava, at the beach, who allocates the chairs, umbrellas, etc , is absolutely amazing and has exceptional customer service!!

Ava was the best! She made sure I had everything I needed on the beach. She remembered me every day that I came to the beach and knew exactly where I wanted to be on the beach with my umbrella. Informed me about the bar and the full menu they have . Ava made sure to check on me constantly . Making sure I was comfortable and whatever I needed was available.

Shanique was absolutely amazing and truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she took such great care of us and made us feel so welcomed. She gave the best recommendations for both food and cocktails, and every single choice was perfect. She was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, always checking in at the right moments. On top of that, her personality is everything. Sweet, outgoing, bubbly, and genuinely happy. Her energy made the whole night even more enjoyable. Shanique is a true gem and a huge asset to your team. We can’t wait to come back and hope to be lucky enough to have her again.

Shanique in the pool bar was amazing so far she’s the only real good experience we’ve had since we arrived but Shanique Eddie, the beach chair dude was rude lazy and obnoxious

The hotel is in a great spot right on a nice section of beach. All the cool restaurants nearby. It is recently remodeled. All that said, it is obviously an old building, probably from the 50s or 60s. It’s hard to remodel one that, narrow halls, small bathrooms, small lobby.

My husband and I were there for our anniversary. We Loved it the hotel and the service. Thank waitress Shanique for the professionalism.

I went to the pool with my mom and Shanique was so attentive! She always checked on us with great service! Shanique had a great attitude and was very friendly.

I recently stayed at The Westin Fort Lauderdale beach resort for 4 nights and it was absolute horrible. I stayed in the North tower room 442 to be exact and the whole room smelled like mold even the hallway leading up to the room. At first I didn’t think of it as we were out most of the day however after the 3rd day I started coughing and my throat was irritated and sneezing. I complained to the management and I changed rooms for the last night. It wasn’t until I came home and unpacked that I noticed all my clothes smelled like mold. I washed them 4 times with vinegar and the baking soda and nothing worked. This is very upsetting, this hotel is infested with mold
