Hotel des Colonies Brussels by Mercure

Comfortable hotel, surprisingly spacious on Place Rogier. Good Sushi, Indian and Vegan restaurants nearby, and close to exhibitions and another good cafe at Botanique.

Like: room had basic facilities required; special mention on charging dock (with usb ports), bed was comfortable, a/c works fine Dislike: corridor was dimly lit while having to move up and down using stairs, to get to my room

Very nice quiet place to stay. Staff was helpful, although not always at the desk, but in the back room. Issues with the electrical. The lights randomly turned on and off. Overall a good stay

Not bad, But breakfast room is extremely over crowded . it’was really hard to find a place to eat.

You get what you pay for. good location and close walking distance to city center. However staff was a bit unattentive and one day they missed giving us roomservice.

The staff are friendly and supportive. The service was very good. The hotel was clean. It was closer to the centre of Brussels

After check-out I realized that I left valuables in the room. I notified reception before returning to the hotel, using the phone number available int he Expedia App. When I arrived at the hotel, my problem was resolved in a very professional, responsible, efficient, and courteous way. My congratulations and thanks to the reception and housekeeping staff working on Friday morning Feb 3, 2023!!
