El Valle Lodge

Tranquillity, very clean

The pool measures 2x2 m, the accès to the hotel from Samana is a nightmare, the fish they served us for dinner was extremely difficult to eat and we booked 2 massages we never got😉

Great location in terms of being in El Valle and near a beautiful beach. Great views at the beach. The room was about what I expected in terms of being very simple/rustic. Breakfast was wonderful and the property in and of itself was very pretty.

The room had very dim lighting and the bed had stains on it, as well as the towels. We also had a frog in our room at night, but also to be expected. The wifi in the rooms was poor and the toilet clogs easily as well. While I love the concept, I just don't think the price is totally worth it.

The place is a hidden gem 💎

The place is an absolute dream. The room is integrated with lush surrounding nature, 5 minutes from the beach in a jungly spot. King size beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Feels like a movie! Special points for great breakfast and cheerful staff. Also took a great yoga class!

Nice atmosphere, definitely a must-try experience. The entire complex is close to the beach, the rooms look cool, and the facility is animal-friendly.

Dinner was awful. It was totally not worth it in general, but asking 25 p.p. for it felt criminal :D We went to bed hungry that evening. Also, no one greeted us upon our arrival except a cute dog who was hanging out with us while we wandered through the complex for half an hour with our bags. Not like we expected to be greeted, just took us long time to find someone that can do a check-in for us.

Had amazing jungle walkways. Rooms were to spacious and beautiful . Your fully immersed in nature .

Small pool and buggy ! They have bug spray but recommend bringing your own and a good walking shoes !

Nowhere to sit out in the sun in the afternoon

The location of this was ideal as right by the beach , the actual property & concept of it was excellent…breakfast was superb & entire ambience was lovely & relaxing.

Sadly felt the staff were not overly accommodating with info, there was no mention of the activities like yoga etc that took place there & when & we got told by a local about the happy hr & DJ on our last night there…this mainly applies to front of house staff not being particularly friendly as kitchen staff each morn were lovely.
