Bit confusing sorting out a boat trip

Excellent view of lake Kivu

It was quite a distance from bus station,had to get mototaxi to get there and back

Lovely location w a view of the beautiful lake,. We loved sitting at the little table outside our room with a beer gazing at it! Restaurant onsite also fab view. And good meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast was included in our room price and was the standard but good. Served by delightful staff as we sat looking over that lake! An easy 15 min walk into the small town (ATM, groceries etc). Also to a little school run by a Spanish woman just past the roundabout - they do amazing work there with the poorest, most disadvantaged little children. Really enjoyed this place.

Double check before considering swimming in the lake.

beautiful location great staff decent wifi (doesn’t reach the rooms sometimes) easily able to access the rest of the little city i really liked their pizza great tour operators (claude!!!)

We had an amazing stay in Rebero with wonderful view to the lake. The restaurant have a great variety food and the breakfast was also very good w lot of fruits and drinks.

Everything ok

The room was comfortable and spacious, with a private bathroom and hot water. A nice little terrace area to chill. The restaurant was excellent, delicious food and well priced. The view is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast which is included was also really good. Would highly recommend.

The resort has a really nice location overlooking the lake with great views and just a short walk down to the lake and boats. It is nice and quiet and I enjoyed 2 nights stay. It is also walking distance from the genocide memorial and church. I also walked back to the bus station or you can take a moto or taxi. The staff were helpful and can arrange boat tours.

The accommodation is quite simple and bare so don't expect a 'resort' exactly. The price they offer for boat tours seems to vary wildly and the receptionist approached me almost immediately to get me to book one. I was offered much lower rates by boat operators from the collectivo on the streets. However the guide on the boat I arranged through the hotel was great and I was happy with the trip. Take your time and read the agencys' reviews online or wander down and have a look at the boats yourself and guides as it is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
