Location - perfect view and close to the lake

Service was really slow - we had to wait over an hour for breakfast. Had to ask few times for a towel to be brought to the room. Room wasn’t very clean. We found some cockroaches inside.

We got what we paid for, the price reflects the room. They have a restaurant on site, and the place is easy to find. It has a great view over Lake Kivu. Okay WiFi. I would have choose this again if I’m just staying 1-2 nights on a road trip, but for a weekend in Lake Kivu, I would have chosen somewhere else.

The bed is hard. The mosquito net is to small for a double bed. This is no hot water. The breakfast is decent (hot drink + eggs your choice + fruit plate).

It was a very nice place with good quality services and all needed facilities (hot water, light, wifi, breakfast, water, hygiene items etc) and they provided activity services with very reasonable prices.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with a good restaurant. Helpful staff and very good value for money along the Kivu coast.

Pancakes and tea for breakfast were tasty. Rooms and restaurants had nice view. It was peaceful and staff was attentive and friendly. Rooms are basic but functional. They have good connections to organise a nice boat tour or canoe trip.

It's not luxury but comfortable enough. Recommended!

A long way from the hustle and bustle of Kigali. Calm, quiet, scenic, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Very helpful and kind staff, including Musa, Abib and the restaurant staff. Requested and received preparation of local meals.

The bathroom shower curtain needs changing.

Rooms are not soundproof which can be a problem based on who is on the room next door.

This is a great place, ran by friendly people, on a nice location, with nice views to the lake. Other reviewers complained that food in the restaurant takes a long time. Yes, it does take around 1 hour or more. But if guests wanted fast food they would not come here in the first place. The food was always 5 stars, some of the best food I had in Rwanda. On my first meal, I was impatient with the delay, but once I realised it was always going to be like this, for the other meals I brought entertainment (books, etc.), because I knew the wait was long. But in the end the wait always paid off. Such great food!!!
