Lady at the front desk very rude barely talks acts like youre inconveniencing her and all we was doing was checking in. We had a prepaid reservation for two rooms for two days and on the secend day was locked out of our rooms with three kids under the age of 3 upstairs the key let us in the building but not the rooms. And we had to pay $100 for a deposit just to get into our rooms after we had stayed one night already. Then when we finally did get into the rooms the electric was off and we had to go back to the office for them to turn it back one claimed to be housing keeping bur didnt even change the trash or anything didnt touch the beds or the bathroom. I Highly recommend staying anywhere but here horrible experience rude staff unkept rooms no free breakfast as advertised i will never stay her again and advise anyone considering to just go somewhere else i wish i could give this hotel 0 stars

"Rude Front Desk Lady"

We had the worst experience with the front desk lady. I booked online, and showed up. She asked me for my ID, and I gave her my passport. She said absolutely not, it has to be a driver's license. They don't take passports. She wouldn't answer any questions. She just held a paper in front of my face that said, "I need your ID." Finally I gave her a paper with my address on it that I dug up. She asked for my credit card, then told me she doesn't take Fifth Third bank. She also threatened to call the cops on me if we smoked in the room, when I have never smoked in my life. It was bizarre. She wouldn't let me stay there, but wouldn't refund me. Luckily, hotels.com got my refund for me. Avoid at all costs.

Don’t usually do reviews. However, making an exception to warn off anyone from considering staying here. Truly a dump. The front desk person is laughably unhelpful, rude, sarcastic and bitter.

"Econo Lodge in Worthington OH"

The hotel was nice. It had comfortable beds and pillows and everything seemed clean. However, it was advertised that they had breakfast but they did not, not even coffee.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!! THE WORST I'VE EVER HAD TO ENDURE!!!! DID NOT MAKE ME AND MY FAMILY FEEL COMFORTABLE AT ALL!!! SERVICE AGENT A DESK WAS VER DISRESPECTFUL, WAS NOT POLITE AT ALL. THE ROOMS WAS VERY VERY SMALL!! DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO WI-FI !! JUS AN HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! IF I WAS ABLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK I WOULD HAVE AND WENT TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL.

This place was horrible. It was ran down and dirty. I didn't expect much but this, no. Still had clothes from last guest in the drawer, burn holes in the blanket and what ever that was on top of the bed. The lady in the ofc was rude and then completely disappeared after check in. She was talking about other guests in front of them as if they didn't hear every word she said. I would not recommend staying here. I'm still praying I don't end up with bed bugs!!

I booked the lodge 2 1 kid. It’s 10.30pm while reached the lodge. The owner(lady) was so rude and didn’t responded to the questions and didn’t allowed me to call Expedia regarding the bookings. She was so immature in handling the customers and doesn’t even bother about informing about the room location. When I called her over the phone, she lift the phone call and disconnected. I was trying couple of times to get to know about the room numbers. I believe, she is not normal on his behavior. It’s our fault, to book the room without reading the comments in google. She even threatened, she can cancel the bookings. Regretted for booking the lodge for the family. Not recommend - Zero stars especially when staying with family.

"Dated but clean "

As others have noted, the front desk clerk lacks a personality. I only interfaced with her for check in which went as expected. The hotel is in need of a remodel and I understand that is in the works. I could not get a first floor room due to remodeling yet I could not see any evidence of work being done. The hallways smell a little mothball-y but the room was fine. Besides being dated the room was very clean and very comfortable. I slept well and would stay there again at this price.

"Huge no frills.."

First thing the lady working was super unfriendly..which after I read other reviews..they said the same. One good thing we got there early..and check in wasnt until 4pm..but we were able to check in early. We read on the website that you can pay $50 to have a later check out time. But she told us no when we asked. The room was ok..there was no soap for bathroom to wash hands. The room also has a fridge..that it doesnt show on the site. It was worth the cost..def would not use again.

"Do better"

Stayed here several times in the past with no issues. However, this time was different. Room was clean, but the front desk staff was rude and disrespectful multiple occasions to me and was unfriendly. Wi-fi never worked. Will not be staying here again. Would not recommend.
