Econo Lodge Worthington - Columbus North

Very basic accommodation, there was no heat on when I arrived and concrete floors and walls hold the cold. Heater worked but had to run alot to keep it warm. The room was very clean. For the price it is OK.

In the room, the door frames are peeling and needs to be painted The room was too warm, and then it was cold. On Sunday morning half the room lost its power. The refrigerator made noises

The lady who checked me in did not give me the password to the Wi-Fi, she just kept saying she did not have it. I folder her it was not in the room anywhere and she did nothing about it Every time I left my room the key did not work when I returned. I keep having to get the card rekeyed.

Decent place to stay. Owner is friendly and helpful. While there are no extra amenities, what was available was adequate.

My staying there was very traumatic because of my encounter with the front desk lady, who in no uncertain terms asked me to leave her hotel because I had reported her rude, hostile and shocking attitude toward me. After I packed my things and returned to check out she told me she tried but was not able to cancel the rest of the reservation, so I ended up staying only because the system would not let her cancel the rest of the trip and refund it. It was most traumatic when my key was not working and I had to go get it reprogrammed. Either she was discriminating against me or she doesn’t belong to the hospitality industry. I sincerely hope that no one else will be subjected to this totally uncalled for and deplorable treatment.

At check in I asked for a room on the ground floor since there was no elevator. The attendant gave us one, but after we got our suitcases in, she came to the room to inform us that we'd have to move out to the second floor as the room had already been reserved or go to another hotel. Before we could answer, she walked away without giving us the new room number and didn't even turn around when we called to her and she was less than 2 doors away.

Not great shape, but reasonable if you just want a bed to sleep in. Reasonably clean, not a lot of noise. Frig and microwave in the room.

Didn’t like this property. When we got to our room, it wreaked of cigarette smoke. The toilet was also plugged. We'd gone to our room, dropped our bags off, and mentioned the toilet to the lady at the front desk our way out to dinner. She came chasing us out to our car with a plunger in hand. We explained that we were on our way out and she started walking away shouting about there not being any refunds. We're not demanding people, but a working toilet is kind of essential. The fact that we walked into the room and found a clogged toilet housekeeping should have caught makes me question what else they turned a blind eye too.

Looked a little seedy at first, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The area is very accessible for all transportation.

It was convientant to shopping, restaurants, and activities that we were planning on doing.
