My wife and I walked over from another hotel where we were staying for the week for lunch. It was such a pleasurable day we spontaneously decided to spend the night with only the summer clothes we were wearing! The entire staff and stay was way better than a high end psychiatrist in West LA! And we received an unexpected beautiful upgrade!

Beautiful grounds, upon arrival treated like very well but in truth we couldn't wait to get out of there. We could hear the laundry facilities, the train, and every other word that the people in the adjoining room (831) said, including that the security guard told them we had called to complain about the noise twice at 1:15 am and again at 1:45am so then we got to hear ssshhhing on top of the party noise for another 45 minutes or so. Why the hotel didn't invite them to party somewhere away from guest rooms I have no idea. Only a card table in the closet if you got room service, you had to wait while they unfolded table and then regular maid service didn't remove breakfast materials you had to make an extra call to have it removed. We did have a lovely dinner at Buena Vista. But little details were missing to make it seem like a first class resort (They didn't even ask if we had enjoyed our stay when we checked out).

Awesome place to stay for couples desiring to relax and get away on a romantic excursion. The staff are wonderful and aim to please. We were taken care of exceedingly well at the pool by Edward. Enjoy breakfast on property with a view of the ocean. Great craft cocktails in the bar to finish your day.

Terrific location and outstanding staff, it I found the hotel facilities to be tired and way over priced for what you get. Paid the same for Montage Maui and Biltmore does not hold a candle to it. Pool was tired, and just overall felt less Thani would have expected for the price.
