Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel

Major renovation projects happening now to the much loved Sheraton Hershey Harrisburg Hotel, but the completed guest rooms are fabulous and comfortable, and the Sheraton Suite bedding is still the best! The wonderful Sheraton Hershey Hotel staff are all so welcoming, accommodating, helpful and amazing during this difficult renovation process. But with patience and dedication, the fantastic staff are doing all they can to continue providing the outstanding hospitality and excellent customer service experience that they are known for. Hotel is under massive construction. Most amenities are gone or minimized. The rate should be $59 a night for this disaster. Staff is nice and doing their best, but the place is a maze. It is impossible to get from point A to point B due to half of the hotel area being closed. Construction noise all day.

When you go there, it is like amazed they are under construction, and it is not very clear on where to go. We stayed on the third floor, which is the lobby floor, and it was extremely noisy. Our neighbors kept slamming their doors. It was not very conducive to what I needed my children had a hockey tournament. They barely slept played horrible. The next day used to be a favorite of hotel of hours, but this was not good at all, they should really have shut down construction and not do it totally gave this hotel

We booked for indoor pool and it was not working, had construction work thru out the whole hotel. Very unpleasant to be around in, was not relaxing.

The hotel was under serious construction ! You had to pass the indoor pool to get to the outdoor pool and it was a mess . There were no signs how to get to the outdoor pool but it was the same Locked door that you needed your key for that said weight room on a different floor . The pool had a security guard which I’ve never seen before and a lot of bee/wasp hives all Around the pool

Stay was decent, staff was the best part extremely kind and helpful. Its undergoing significant construction was a bit like a maze with parts from the 1980s and newer sections. Outdoor pool was nice.

Very comfortable and convenient to shopping and dinning

I had read some reviews ahead of time about the hotel being under renovation and I called ahead to request a renovated room (which they gave us), and the room was quite nice. Mini fridge and small coffee maker available in room. The hotel restaurant and bar (as well as the lobby) are under renovation, but they set up a small restaurant room which serves full meals and a funny little bar in the gift shop which we actually enjoyed very much. The hotel itself abuts a strip mall with a Target, Chili's, etc. which you can walk to, if you want. Lots of other fast food a short drive nearby. We didn't visit the outdoor pool, but it looked very nice and has a pool bar which operates dependent on weather. The hotel was not busy (it was a Sunday). I have to say that our whole experience was positively defined by the staff. There are a LOT of staff so always someone to help and everyone was very sweet and accommodating. I would call the service outstanding. I think when this hotel is fully renovated it will be a great place to stay. Note that it does not have a Club Lounge, if that's something you care about. The pool is indoor/outdoor and I believe the fitness center is being renovated also. Again, when renovation is done this will be an outstanding place to stay. We will stay here again (after renos) if we pass by the area.

The bed was comfortable

Too much construction. My family wanted to use the indoor pool. Nothing stated that the indoor pool was closed. We have gotten lost 3 times for the price 238.00 and we only could use the outdoor pool and the weather wasn't equivalent to the outdoor pool. Also, my receipt w/tax came to 220.00 but they took $238.00 off my card. Worse experience for the price
