Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel

I stayed tonight just to get away from my family. I take care of my mother and father. And sometimes I just need a little break and I usually go to the Best Western premiere, which is amazing but I decided to try the sheraton but I was disappointed. The room I had was nice, but half old half new. The whole hotel was a little spooky. Sketchy, I'm sure when it's done being remodeled. It will be wonderful besides the. Condition of the hotel which is not good. Everybody was friendly. The dog and pony. Lindsey, who is the bartender 4 times a week, is a diamond in the rough and you better hold on to her and pay her whatever she needs. Because without her, that restaurant would not be anymore and I and then you customer and I have just met her and the value on her alone could set up the whole atmosphere of your hotel for the better. The entire stay was amazing! Fresh, Clean & Above Expectations! Staff was Friendly, Accommodating, Respectful & went out of their way to make us all feel special & Happy to be there! The Staff Were all very friendly & you could tell they were happy working there. Everyone Greeted us, chatted with us & asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay better! The Rooms were outstanding, the restaurant was open late & the food was excellent, the pool was indoor/outdoor & the kids loved it! The fitness room was full of many different equipment pieces enough that it was not overcrowded. Every employee was friendly & truly caring about our comfort! I highly recommend this location for both business & pleasure. They also have large meeting rooms & ball rooms for weddings, conferences, reunions, etc. I was extremely impressed with the accommodations!

Nice and clean

I will try to keep this short. I stayed July 4 to July 5, 2024. My room was located on the 2nd floor even tho I requested a high floor. The hotel is older ( even with a remodel it is still very dated) and below Marriott standards. Entering the 2nd floor hallway it was very dark, entering the room dark, dated, and lack luster. The room was a bit musty, hot, and not well furnished at all. Setting- the pill out sofa could not be sat on as there was a very huge dip directly in the center that could not be fixed, the as far as the blinds - no sheer set for some privacy and still allow sun light, bed was made and clean, bathroom small, dark, and provided soap and shampoo for men and not women, the pool TERRIBLY DIRTY! HAIR, BUG ON TOP OF BUGS, RANDOM PIECES OF WHAT LOOK LIKE OLD DEAD SKIN, AND I am going to be completely honest I did not want my child swimming in that water but did not want to ruin my child's holiday since it was so hot and it was far from heated. Let's fast forward to the day I checked everything was fine charged $160 for stay and incidentals completely fine, morning out check out charge changed to $145 - not sure where the extra $10 came from but no difference was out back on my account, brought 2 drinks from pup/dog and pony charged to room $40 max, 2 to 3hrs after I checked out I get a notification from my bank that SHERATON Harrisburg Hershey was trying to charge my card $3409 4 times, called front desk and they did not know why so was told that I would need to speak to the account office and asked for my number, well on the phone the charged my card for$179 which was room and drinks again completely fine, I get an additional notification for another $3409, so I called the hotel back and asked for the hotel managers email. At this point I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend to friends and family.

The property was in a great location for access to the theme park. I love the option of the indoor and outdoor pool easy access. Since it always rains when I go in June. The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. However there should be more of a deep cleaning of the hotel. As there was very noticeable areas that needed better cleaning. Breakfast was $16.99 per person. I had six kids so that was not a great option for me. I would go back.

Went with my family for basketball tournament at the expo center (6th grade girls). Location is good - about 20 min to Hershey park and 10 minutes to downtown Harrisburg and the Expo center. Our group hung out in the lobby and had some drinks from the hotel bar at night. We also went to Hershey park one day which was easy. The staff at the hotel were very nice (especially Sierra) who gave us great recommendations and was very pleasant at the front desk. The pool looked nice but some of our group said the water was cold. If I’m back in the Hershey area I would consider the hotel again.

Went for a tournament. Don’t recommend. A bit dingy, old, and dirty feel even tho sheets are clean. No room with two queen beds available. Requested sheets at the front desk for the pull out, they didn’t send. Call the guest service. Not an old Sheraton quality…

Great location, large clean property. Priced very good.

The rooms do not have any mirrors other than the bathroom. This makes it hard for a couple to get ready. I don’t believe I’ve ever stayed at a hotel that hasn’t had at least a wall mirror in the room.
