"It wasn’t cool at all oppressively hot in the room. Ridiculous."

Air conditioning is the most fundamental thing and this property failed miserably. The property is old and very tired. The air conditioning was clearly insufficient in the room and I had to be brought a fan just to make it through three days at this hotel. Breakfast staffing was one person who was slow as can be trying to attend to multiple tables. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive. Will never stay at this property again avoid.

Dear Management, I am writing to formally express our disappointment regarding the unresolved issues we faced during our recent stay at your establishment. Upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not functioning, making the room extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the main light switch was defective and could not be turned off, which further disrupted our experience, especially during the night. At 10pm, we promptly informed the front desk about these problems and requested a room change. We had to wake our kids up for this matter. We also asked to speak with a manager to address our concerns. The front desk employee assured us that a manager would call us back to follow up on the situation. Unfortunately, we never received any communication, nor was the matter resolved during our stay. Given the inconvenience, lack of basic room functionality, and the absence of any follow-up from your management, we find this experience far below the standards of service we expected. We kindly request a refund as compensation for the significant discomfort and poor customer service we encountered. We trust that you will take this matter seriously and address it promptly. We look forward to hearing from you.

I’m writing to share feedback following my recent stay with my family at the Marriott Albany over the weekend. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room upon arrival. The floors were visibly dirty, the bathroom appeared not to have been properly cleaned, and there were black, mold-like spots in the shower. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and comfort. While I want to acknowledge that the front desk staff was kind and accommodating, the condition of the room made our experience far below what we’ve come to expect from Marriott. It has certainly made me hesitant about choosing other Marriott locations in the future. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Unbelievable , we called the hotel ahead of time to arrive around 1am and made a sure 2 people -2 beds and when we checked in the room is not available . only one bed and roll on bed only. Never used this place again and they told me that HOTELS.com fault.

We have stayed at this Marriot several times and things seem to be going downhill. My major complaint was the room(s). When we arrived in our room it had a distinct odor and I am not even going to guess what it was. I am in my seventies and have never requested a room change, I did this time. The second room was slightly better but far from clean. There was mold around the shower basin and cobwebs flying out the bathroom vent. Yes I have pictures. On the positive side the staff was welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant and bar area were clean and attractive.
