The Saratoga Hilton

This Hilton feels old and tired, and really doesn't live up to the Hilton Brand standard I expect. Upon initial check-in, we were given a room right above an employee break area. It was loud and I could smell the smoke from the employees drifting up into our room. I asked to be moved and was told there was only one other room available. It was in a very odd, isolated location on the first floor. We took it. Around 1am, my husband started feeling lightheaded, with a horrible headache. We realized the carbon monoxide detector in the room - while not going off - was rapidly blinking red. We contacted the front desk and somehow were moved to a new room on the third floor. We had to move all our stuff by ourselves in the middle of the night. There was no offer by the front desk to contact someone to help us move our suitcases. The new room (our third in less than 12 hours) also had a carbon monoxide detector blinking red, but since it didn't smell too horribly in the room we ended up staying against my better judgement. The bathroom was incredibly small and did not vent well, so the room always felt humid. The sofa bed leg was cobbled with packing tape, the ceiling on the second room had water spots on it, and the shades were old and yellow. I would not stay again unless this hotel were renovated.

Perfect location for business travel that allows you walkable access to great shops and restaurants. Wish they had a bar and restaurant internally with better options

First floor room by elevator - super noisy as late night guests returned. Room smelled slightly. Restaurant was dark at 8:00PM.

The Hilton Saratoga has a great location for exploring Saratoga. The rooms were decent, but the overall hotel vibe was “tired”. We had breakfast one morning in the restaurant. It was okay, but much better choices on the Broadway, outside the hotel.

BE ADVISED ~ Parking Lot a disaster. Read #2 I had two issues: Due to travel delay, I needed to check in after 11pm. So, I wanted to advise the hotel of my late check-in. 1st~ However, a direct hotel number is not listed, even on their website or anywhere to be found. I called the number on tte website which gave 2 options 1- make a new reservation 2- cancel or revise a reservation. Choose 2 3X's to be told this number doesn't accept calls at this time. Finally, I choose 1 & was told by a kind woman that she couldn't make a note on my Reservation as I booked thru 3rd party. After conversation she agreed to call the hotel & try to have them make the note. This worked, but wasted an 1hr of my time.. very poor process. 2nd~ I arrive & check-in after 11 & when the desk instructs me where to park in the back of the hotel, I'm told the hotel door to the parking lot locks at 11pm so I have to walk around to the hotel front entrance. I'm fine with it hoever IT TURNS OUT THE WALK FROM THE PARKING TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL IS ALMOST 1/4 MILE... HALF UPHILL. No Joke! After I hike back to the desk I'm told this is done for my safety. Absurd, If your parking lot is so dangerous, get a Security Guard or Key Card locks like every other hotel. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

Perfect location, immaculate and great staff. Did not use any of facilities. Great parking.

The property was a bit run down for the price. Also had a terrible experience in the hotel restaurant- rude staff.

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The pool area and fitness center were great. No complaints.

The ease of checking in and the parking. Staff was pleasant. Rom was spacious.

It was 10:35 and the bar lounge was closed. We asked for wine glasses and we were told that was not possible. That was disappointing and strange that 2 wine glasses could not be located anywhere in the entire hotel. Also, there was a mechanical unit outside the window that was incredibly loud that made sleep very difficult.
