The Saratoga Hilton

The hotel was old, run down, dirty, dark and hasn’t been updated in a very long time.

Room was nice and seemed clean. The rest of the hotel did not live up to the price.

On 8/23 we had breakfast on the property. The Bistro was not busy. Two waitresses. Ours, wanted to complain about the other. Coffee refills delayed because of slow response and the excuse "we used all the coffee for takeout orders and are making more." Our room was near the supply closet. I understand a bit of noise by cleaning staff. But - they yelled up and down the hallway at 8am, and throughout the day. I was on a conference call on Sunday at 330pm and nearly had to ask them to quiet down. The property seems in need of upgrades. The doors from the parking lot are heavy and hard to open. The elevators are slow and some numbers were not lit. I last stayed in this hotel over 25 years ago. It seems like nothing has changed. This is the poorest quality Hilton property I have stayed at in recent years.

Helpful and friendly staff. Beds comfortable. Trolley available to casino and track . About half hour walk to track . Nice location on Broadway for restaurants and shopping. Only negative is the restaurant on site is extremely slow . Kitchen understaffed. 80minute wait for food .

The room was very clear, Al employees were very nice, and the location was wonderful

The location of this Hilton is super convenient. I was traveling without a car and it was easy to get from the train station to the hotel. It's a short walk from the hotel to restaurants and bars in town, Rooms are very large and very clean. Shower water pressure is impressively strong, best shower ever! Staff are friendly, and I especially want to thank Sam who worked the bar on Friday night.

Facilities are aging. The elevator is slow and disturbingly loud. Many outlets did not work and there are limited USB ports in the room. Breakfast facilities are very basic. Front doors are difficult to open and would be very hard for those with limited mobility. Views are basically of the road, which in such a scenic town is a little sad.
