Renaissance Okinawa Resort

早餐非常普通。預訂兩個twin 的床型。卻給我三張單人床。房間靠馬路，一直聽到摩特車飆車的聲音。房間隔壁是洗衣間。一直聽到運轉的聲音。隔音不是很好。小孩能玩的活動不少。兩天玩的差不多。和海豚一起游泳只有5分鐘不到。有沒有這個價值見仁見智。

We stayed for 3 nights and every night around 9pm to 11pm street bikers 🏍️ would rub their engines multiple times up and down the street. We counted 6 times one night. It was nearly impossible to get good sleep not just from the street noise but because the room was hot and we had to sleep with the sliding door open to get fresh air into the room. We had the AC set at the lowest temperature but it didn’t help. Won’t be staying here again.

Wonderful location and we got all that we expected. I would go back to the resort and Okinawa is a great place to unwind.

Nicest facilities! Very clean and the breakfast was superb! Loved the fruit sandwiches the most and just simply amazing!! The birds in the entrance did make me sad. I wish they were able to fly in an enclosure.

Stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are a nice size albeit the western rooms appear to be 2 single beds only and no double options which is odd and not very western. There are some areas of the hotel which do need upkeep. For example on the waters edge some benches have been abandoned and when you look between areas of the hotel many items which are broken seem to have been abandoned there. The route to the gym is very odd as it’s through the shop and locker room. There is a small zoo in the outside area of the hotel just beyond the pool which I found horrid. The pens for the animals are far too small and the water for the fish was dirty and also it’s so sad to see the dolphins kept captive in this day and age. The lounge on L11 is ok but the tinkling music awful as it only appears to have only 3 songs on repeat . The tinkling is annoying after a while and one of the songs is puff the magic dragon which isn’t appropriate for children when you have to explain the meaning of the song. We were invited to the Four seasons bar for complimentary cocktail time one evening and it was awful. It was the same food as L11, no sparkling wine option and a rather rude hostess once she discovered we weren’t there for the restaurant. Aside from this instance all the staff were very pleasant and helpful . However wouldn’t stay here again as too far out with limited the options by foot for dinner unless you eat at the hotel. Nearby for dinner we only found a small Italian (very nice) and the small restaurant down the beach closes at 17:30. For our last day there was a 20 min wait for breakfast and as we had to leave in 30 mins we weren’t able to have breakfast which was not great especially as we noted outside all tables were empty and it wasn’t raining and so they could have asked if we were ok to sit outside instead. As such the hotel food offering all round isn’t ideal. There was also the offer to not have room cleaned and a 1000 yen credit . We signed the form but the hotel did not honour the credit.

Great restaurants, great activities, very clean However, parking 1 is small, parking 2/3 are 100 m away opposite side of road to the hotel.

Great room, it was large and comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony and ocean view. The resort was clean with plenty to do. We enjoyed dining options, walking around seeing the animals/sea animals on property. It was like their own little aquarium. They had a dolphin encounter, I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it, I just ran out of time. We used the laundry facilities, convenient and easy to use. Food: We ate at the buffet and the BBQ restaurant. I am a vegetarian and my husband a carnivore, (funny I know) As a vegetarian, it was challenging to eat, but to be fair, all of Japan is difficult to eat as a vegetarian. Most food has some form of meat in it. My husband enjoyed the food here, particularly the BBQ. The beach was rocky, definately need water shoes. They have both an indoor pool and outdoor pool. We did not use the indoor one, it seem mostly for kids. Outdoor pool was confortable and clean.

Nothing. The hotel was the worst experience I’ve had.

The hotel is far from ‘luxury’ experience. The price we paid and what we got did not match! Moved to Hyatt straight away ( which was also cheaper!) The outdoor swimming pool is in terrible condition The food is sub-par and overpriced The stuff barely speaks any English The hotel is not suitable for couples/ people without kids - it is literally a kids park , very noisy They hold animals in tiny cages - someone needs to check for animal cruelty We had to pay a penalty of one extra night stay to get away from this place - and it was worth it! I would pay money not to be there
