Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport

I booked here after a flight cancellation. The staff were super pleasant and the facilities, although outdated, seemed kept up with. My first complaint would be about the beds. My son and I shared a room with 2 queens. I gave him the mattress that seemed decent enough, but the bed I slept in was like a piece of plywood with a 1/2 inch pad. It was the only time I've removed a fitted sheet to make sure it was in fact a mattress under it. My biggest complaint comes in the form of an event that was being hosted at the hotel. From my understanding it was a very LARGE family reunion that featured a DJ. I don't know if they could have turned the volume up louder than they had it. The TV in our room was hard to hear over the music playing several floors below us and the entire room was vibrating. I believe they finally cut it at 11pm. I understand this probably isn't an everyday occurence, but it seemed ridiculous to me that the music was allowed to be held at that level.

Check in was easy, rooms are clean, nice and spacious, pool area is beautiful, overall. The property is Gorgeous! Front desk are very friendly & polite.

The staff and willingness to help and make my stay a comfortable one was awesome. Although the property is in need of renovations I would stay again. The staff was exceptional.

Shuttle operators can’t hear and are rude, shuttle isn’t labeled with Choice or Clarion name but something like park jet. Waited 1.5 hours for pick up and ended up calling for an UBER. Only reason I went is that it was due to a flight cancellation and every other nearby hotel was already booked or I’d have bailed.

Our stay was great, we needed somewhere close to the airport and this worked out great. On a side note, the staff was very kind and very helpful. My son forgot his headphones in the room and after talking with the staff on the phone they found the headphones and we were able to get them shipped to us. They were very kind and helpful through the whole process. Thanks for the great stay!

The property was okay but for the price I was expecting the rooms to look better than they did. Everything else was fine!

Old, outdated. GOD AWFUL!

I’ve stayed at this hotel two years in a row, took a break after a bad experience, and returned this year hoping things had improved. We booked over 8 rooms as a group — and deeply regret it. There was a 9-hour power outage, during which guests were locked out of their rooms for hours. When I approached the front desk about compensation, I was rudely told it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility — even though other guests confirmed they were credited for the night. Completely inconsistent and unacceptable. On another night, there was a violent domestic disturbance that went on for hours. Police had to be called. Despite reporting it right away, hotel staff offered no support, no safety communication, and no follow-up. Zero accountability for the safety and comfort of guests. Given the size of our group, we expected better. Instead, we were dismissed and treated as though we were an inconvenience. This hotel does not value guest experience or group loyalty. The only positives were the housekeeping staff, who worked incredibly hard and were always kind, and Latoya at the front desk, who was professional and helpful — a stark contrast to the rest of the management team. We won’t be returning. If you’re planning a group stay, think twice
