We arrived at 7 pm...there was no one at the Check in counter for 10 minutes. Someone was there before me...it was 20 minutes before I had the key cards. We went to the room to find a running toilet...it would fill up...leak down...fill up...leak down...every minute or so (I have video of it). There was mold on the cover of the ironing board (Room 111) and the ceiling above the ironing board (I have pictures of the mold). It took the lady at the front desk another 45 minutes to check the room and give us a key card to another room where we found rust on the closet door frame and and a musty smell (Rm 137). While we were waiting for her to get the new key card so we could inspect the next room we (my wife, 24 yr old daughter and myself) we noticed 4 people loitering under one of the stairways. They did not seem to be motel/hotel guests...they were loud and pulling stuff out of the closet under the stairway. My wife said, "I don't feel safe here." I agreed and asked for a refund. The lady at the Check in desk...Stephanie...said she couldn't refund us anything because we made the reservations through Expedia. PLEASE REFUND OUR MONEY. We did NOT stay either night at the Ramada...we went to the LaQuinta Inn next door and their room was clean...the property was friendly and comfortable and we were so grateful to stay. I can provide you with the pictures of the mold, the video of the running toilet and our receipt for our stay at the LaQuinta.

Was given an initial room at 4, room wasn't cleaned. Check in was over 20 min, clerk was either ill or smoker cough really bad. Light in bathroom was very dim but the AC was great and the new mulch and inside pool area looked great

We are a family of 5 and we were given 2 towels and 1 rag... our room was FILTHY. literally bugs everywhere (thankfully not bed bugs).. no hair dryer was provided. Also, definitely not a family friendly area. Be mindful if you have kids, it gets very creepy at night. Lots of sketchy people hanging out around the hotel at night. No joke, we were a little scared. Someone knocked on our door at 1am. We didnt even check to see who it was because who knocks at 1am on someone's door.. overall just horrible experience and wont ever be back when we come to jacksonville.

I have traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, over the past 40 years, and I can confidently say this was the worst lodging experience I have ever encountered. The property is in a serious state of disrepair and appears to suffer from a complete lack of preventive and routine maintenance. Upon arrival, I noticed a significant roof leak in the lobby. During a rainstorm on the day I checked in, water was leaking through cracked concrete hallways and down to the first floor—clearly indicating major structural issues. The condition of the room was even more alarming. The bathroom walls and ceiling were covered in mold, and the bathtub was so dirty I refused to step foot in it. The mattress was stained, and the sheets smelled strongly of bleach—suggesting an attempt to sanitize a room that was otherwise unclean. The wall-mounted HVAC unit was visibly dirty, with what appeared to be mold growing on the vents. Stains were present on both the carpets and walls. Due to feeling unsafe (as there were homeless individuals immediately outside my room), and fearing the potential presence of pests, I left the lights on while sleeping. This is not an exaggeration—I was genuinely concerned for my health and safety. I have photographic evidence documenting the deplorable condition of the room and property. In its current state, this hotel should not be in operation. While I understand the budget-friendly price point and did not expect luxury, basic cleanliness, safety, and maintenance should be a given—none of which were met. The only reason I stayed the night was because I arrived after midnight and was unable to reach other hotels at that hour. I checked out as early as possible the next morning. Frankly, this location should be removed from Hotels.com listings, as it is misleading and does a great disservice to guests.

Everything! When we first arrived the staff was new and helpful. When we got to our rooms we noticed the drug dealers and prostitutes in the rooms and parking lot. When we woke up the next morning a cleaning lady showed us fresh needles by a garage can on the ground next to one of our rooms. The next night same thing more drug dealers and prostitutes. The rooms were smelly, half didnt have locks or a/c. The only reason we stayed is they refused to refund and there were 3 other people with rooms in our group. This is the absolute nastiest trashiest hotel ever. When the management allows the drug dealers and prostitutes to work so they can get a kick back as we were told from staff members! Do not stay here!

The cleanliness was horrible, no towels even after asking, the shady people (did not feel safe walking around alone). The inside lock on the door didn't work. Several rooms were unavailable due to issues. Would not ever recommend this place.
