"Top of the World at the Tan Hill Inn"

The location is unbelievable. 1732 above sea level and with full modern facilities. I arrived on foot - I was walking the Pennine Journey - and stayed in the Swaledale room which was exceptional. Service in the main pub was 5 Star. Great beers. And the meals impressive. If travellers feel like a true escape then have a night at The Tan Hill Inn.

I had no problems.

De ligging is fantastisch, het bed was erg fijn. Het ontwerp van de wastafel in de badkamer is leuk, maar nietnerg praktisch. Het eten is heerlijk!

Omdat deze Inn zo beroemd is kan hetber erg druk zijn. Houdt rekening met wachttijden voor het "cooked breakfast".

"Nice place just needs a few tweaks to make it perfect"

Beautiful place but extremely busy. Be prepared to que for drinks. Room was nice but not so great with delivery and septic tank cleaner right under our window. Maybe arrange that after check out time. Food was amazing and staff worked extremely hard consistently with how busy it was. Breakfast food was lovely .

Septic tank outside our window . Only rice crispies available as a cereal at breakfast. No marmalade. No milk jugs.

"Great location but better housekeeping checks needed."

Location is iconic and storage of bicycles in barn overnight excellent. Meeting interesting & friendly characters in the bar area.

Lack of sufficient towels, cups, shower body wash and shampoo dispenser empty. Breakfast good but took 1well over 70 mins and was disorganised.
