The Tan Hill Inn

Lovely stay in unique location. Warm welcome at this atmospheric inn. Rooms are tastefully decorated and bathroom has a touch of luxury. Fabulous menu with good choice of gf options.

Can barely fault anything. Staff were fantastic, food excellent. Great atmosphere. Location is unreal. Recommend the 10 mile circular walk from the pub although it's fairly up hill and down dale (unsurprisingly).

Rooms a tad on the small side but with a belly full of their food and beer you don't really mind. Would definitely go again.

Unsere Reise zum Tan Hill hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein Erlebnis, hier zwei Nächte mit dem Motorrad zu verbringen. Das Restaurant war sehr uhrig und das Essen absolut zu empfehlen. Wichtig war bei uns eine Tischreservierung. Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Man konnte unterschiedliche Dinge wählen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, aber etwas klein, da wir viele Taschen und die Motorradkleidung unterbringen mussten. Motorrad haben wir an der Hausseite parken können und konnten es vom Zimmer einsehen. Wir können das Tan Hill nur weiterempfehlen und würden immer wieder hier her kommen.

An amazing place to visit with the luxury of staying over for the night. Great food, choice of drinks and the glamping pod was a great experience.

Breakfast took quite a while, extremely busy, was booked in for 9 o clock breakfast but still hadnt got our order at 9.45. Was asked if we'd ordered by a different member of staff and it was only when we were looking around wondering why our breakfast hadnt arrived did someone go and check. It came a few minutes later.

The Tan Hill is a fantastic pub in an amazing location. We visited 40 years ago on a motorcycle and returned in the car for an overnight stay. We were not disappointed! The place is better than ever; atmospheric and vibrant. The staff are fantastic, food is delicious, and choice of beer is heavenly! Our room was clean, cosy, and comfortable and breakfast was fab. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Only complaint is rooms were too hot
