Quality Inn At Town Center

I don't like it

It is very apparent that the owner of this property has given up on wanting his clients stay to be a memorable experience. I would not return to this property, even though I liked the staff.

My room had a moldy old smell. Luckily my stay was only for 5hrs. I refuse to stay to check out time. The saying goes you get what you pay for. Somehow I still expect the room to be clean and not smell old and moldy.

The elevator broke. With people stuck inside. We had to climb four flights of stairs to get to our room. The rooms were clean. Staff was mostly friendly. A couple of rude desk ladies but we were there for quite a while and mostly had good encounters. Our room keys were REPEATEDLY deprogrammed. We kept having to go back to the lobby to get them reactivated. And most times there was no one at the counter so it turned into a waiting game. Overall, for the price, it was decent.

We were on an overnight trip. We have stayed here a couple times before and weren't happy, but because we booked at the last minute, our options were limited. On arrival late in the afternoon, we were greeted by Shakira who is a treasure. She is a very welcoming and pleasant person. The room was clean and comfortable. Usually, I have a hard time sleeping on the beds because they are extremely hard, but this one was comfortable. I did not wake up in pain. The area was quiet. My only complaint was we had no towels in our room. I went to the front desk and Shakira immediately got towels for me, apologizing multiple times. The next morning at checkout, Shakira was still there, smiling and jovial as usual. In my opinion, Shakira is a rock star! They need more like her.

Great location and price

Check-in was BAD, Lack of enough staff led to rooms not being ready until after 4m. 5 people in the lobby awaiting rooms, and the staff was rude. The ceilings of outdoor hallways have paint falling off and are in terrible condition, Friday morning there was a COCKROACH on the coffee pot in the lobby, told the front desk clerk and she just plopped it in the trash, saying they forgot to empty the trash night before, As Well as found 2 COCKROACHES in room on the credenza. This hotel needs a complete BUG tenting.

Centipedes in bathroom . Only cleans every 2 days I won’t be back with quality inn

We had a weird room that had adjoining room capability but our door was ripped off so there was just one door between us and the neighbors and they were LOUD. However, the redeeming factor was the pizza restaurant connected to the motel. It was independently owned and operated and they were the sweetest people.
