Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boston - Peabody by IHG

This trip was horrible. The hotel was not clean and many people are living there full time and hanging around outside the rooms ans illegally cooking inside of their rooms with hot plates. I belive refuges are living there . Carpets are soiled and dirty. Bathrooms were not clean. Spent 1k for two night's there and i am so unhappy

Hi. For $900 for a weekend I expected more. The place is carpeted from top to bottom and it STINKS. Literally smells so bad throughout the hallways let alone the rooms. The hallways are filled with garbage bags of what seems to be residents living in them. Would not be surprised if they were migrants. The walls are paper thin so you hear EVERYTHING. The bathroom toilet seat was barely hanging on, two of our towels had what seemed to look like peubic hair on them. There was this random casing on an electrical junction box in the bathroom that sounded as if kept sparking. The Kurig coffees/teas definitely seemed to be there for some time if not have seen better days. Beds and Pool were OKAY at best.

The property appears to be housing people permanently not just a hotel. Hallways smell horrible of food cooking. School bus came to pick up children in the morning. Quite noisy in hallway. Very disappointed as I’ve always trusted the holiday inn name.

The location was very sketchy. The hotel was very run down, stained carpets, smelly elevators, people were working on cars in the parking lot. People left broken down cars there, for what seemed to be months. Dimmly lit parking lot. The room needs a lot of updating. The price was definitely not worth the stay. Would love my money back. This was not a 3 star hotel.

Where do i start? * Carpets are nasty and smelly. * The chairs have stains. * the bathroom had stains and pubes * Wall Outlets were broken. * the hotel doesnt enforce quiet hours properly. * the staff is smoking weed 24/7 and the smell is all over the hotel. * the AC doesnt work properly. I stayed in this hotel because of the distance to Salem and Availability, but if it comes down to choice, i would never stay here evee again. Avoid at all cost !!!!

We stayed on a Thursday in October for the proximity to salem. The ride there was so easy. The front desk staff were so nice. The room was very clean. I just think there weren’t enough outlets in the room/ by the bed for both me and my wife to charge our phones. I also wish the AC had a continuous fan option: Otherwise, we had a lovely stay

I was not aware that the hotel had so many long term residents. Needles to say there was people even laying in the laundry room. The rooms where musty as there is no ventilation in the bathrooms. The front desk service is horrible. I asked for towels I was told come and get it myself. Please, make sure that you bring your own bottled water as the hotel runs out of it and your only option is juices and soda.

I think ppl may be living there. No breakfast only coffee tiny cups. Not my standards at all . I did not expect plush but not up to Holiday Inn standards from stays in other facilities Even elevator seemed struggling so I took the stairs Carpeting was very stained too.

NOT GOOD! This hotel is full of (government funded homeless people staying long term). VERY cheap accommodations (one towel for two people, no drinking water in room, broken coffee machine, no shampoo and one tiny bar of soap, wet rugs). Should I continue with list of problems for $275.00 for one night stay???? I Was not expecting deluxe accommodations but one towel? REALLY? Wouldn’t recommend and would like a refund of some sort, since no other guess paid as much as I did! I gladdly pay a fair price for using the hotel but $275.00 for 3pm to 11am? This place needs work! Even their hired help agrees!
