Holiday Inn Harrisburg - Hershey Area, I-81 by IHG

Hotel is in middle of renovation and the updated rooms are really nice! Will look to stay here more often. Great hotel bar.

Great place to stay I stay there all the time when I’m in that area. Everything you need is right there food,drinks,entertainment on weekends,etc. the staff is friendly and helpful. The pace is in a perfect location everything you need is very close. The rooms are very comfortable and it’s very nice sleeping.

Good value for the price. Location was good for Hershey. The country bar is fun and the food there is good. Most of the staff was very helpful.

This was possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in to date. The positive is the bed is comfortable. First, the room had a broken door that was damaged and wouldn't open or close properly and had missing screws in the hinges. The TV didn't work for two of my three day stay. They finally brought another small TV and set it on the desk for us to watch. The entire hotel smells like mold, damp and urine except for the actual room itself. Outside pool was closed. Indoor pool was hot and smelled horrible as well as the fitness center. This hotel should not be in business until it's remodeled.

The room smelled like mildew. I could see black stuff in the air conditioner vent. Our door that overlooked the pool was stuck and rusty. The tub was not the cleanest. The restaurant food was not good. My kids didn't eat their pulled pork sandwiches. We paid 697.08 for 2 nights. This was very over priced for the condition of the hotel and room. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Rank smelling lobby and room. Curtains coming off hooks. No plug for coffee machine. Outlet in bathroom painted over. No full length mirror. This place has gone downhill. Restauranr and bar have strange hours . Will not return.

There were some issues with the system so it was difficult to check in but the front desk staff was very positive about the situation and kept me comfortable until I could get in my room.

So overall it was ok. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was great. However its currently under renovation repairs and it took us a few tries to get a room where there wasnt an issue. The front desk was very accommodating and the location was right off highway. Only 15 minutes give or take to the park so it was convenient.

The air conditioner did not work well very noisy. Very old looking room The staff at the buffet was very not friendly.

Had to switch rooms do to a leaking fridge, black mold on the shower and a non working toilet. Our new room had holes in the lamp shades, rust in the shower, an actual hole in the wall and stains on the rug
