Emerald Beach Hotel Corpus Christi

We got a room with a balcony which gave a beautiful view of the sunrise. AC was very cold.

I did not know of the 100.00 Deposit or that you had to pay for parking. I would have liked to have been informed of this prior to getting there. I haven't received my email showing that the deposit was returned and when I have ( 3 times in row no one Is answering.

There were roaches in the room and dead ones. The furniture was torn. The sheets had stains. There was a musky smell. We left and had to pay for another room

It was close to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar by the beach (Komo’s was very nice and very helpful.

We had to go to the front desk to get toilet a roll of toilet paper because there wasn’t any in our room. The front by the front desk and by the elevators was very dirty and unkempt. I was very disappointed.

Hotel needs Big remodeling, dingy, gritty and not worth the money. No restaurant, bars both closed (beach bar & inside bar). Tv did not work well; channels all mixed up. Called front desk and they send up hotel tech. He gave instructions on how to use tv. He was helpful. We only stayed 1 night and only other people we saw in hotel were 2 elderly ladies. No one else. It was spooky. No cars in parking area in morning afternoon or night. Ac was good; furniture in room very old and didn’t look clean. We took out small dog and front desk attendant was nice and gave us no problem when we told him dog was emotional support.

Hotel is Old, dingy and gritty. It is suppose to be beach front but after seeing the lobby we did not even go to beach area. No one was around. It looked EMPTY and felt weird

We arrived and no one was around. It was a bit spooky. One person in front desk. He was nice but come to find out no bar, no beach bar, no restaurant and the place looked dingy, gritty and very old looking. Our room also very old but relatively clean. Tv had guide that didn’t work. Called front desk as we could not find ESPN. Danny ( hotel tech) came and was very helpful showing us how tv “worked”. Tv channels all mixed up. We saw only two other older ladies the whole time we stayed there. Due to a home emergency we only stayed 1 night. We had paid for 2. We did not even stroll the hotel beach area. Would not recommend as hotel needs a major remodeling and as is not worth the money we paid.
